Stamford Eye Associates provides ophthalmology specialty care offering modern technologies and techniques in glaucoma surgery, cataract surgery, and oculoplastic-cosmetic surgery. Stamford Eye Associates is led by Dr. Gregory Gallousis an ophthalmologist and a fellowship-trained glaucoma surgeon. We also treat various types of conditions that affect vision. Dr. Gregory Gallousis provides individual service to each and every patient. We’ll meet with you to determine which tests to perform based on your visual requirements and health condition. We offer excellent care and guidance to ensure that our patients enjoy the highest quality of life possible. We accept many insurance plans, including Medicare. Dr. Gregory M. Gallousis has been the medical director of Stamford Eye Associates since 2006 and has been in private practice since 1998. We are certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO) and are fellowship-trained sub-specialists from some of the finest institutions in the country. Dr. Gallousis received his fellowship training in glaucoma at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Cornell University Medical Center.  Dr. Karen Nipper received her training at the Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia and completed her fellowship in Oculoplastic Surgery also in Philadelphia. Our physicians are experienced with some of the most complex cases in their respective fields of study. We are accomplished in modern surgical techniques and procedures. Whether you are in need of a general eye exam or a sub-specialty exam, Stamford Eye Associates will provide your exam in a modern, state-of-the-art office.
